About Last Night…
In case you missed the action in the world of sports last night…
Alabama rolled Notre Dame 42-14 in the BCS National Championship Game winning their second straight national title, third title in the last four years, and cementing their status as one of the greatest College Football dynasties of all time.
In the eyes of some (including yours truly) it also cemented Notre Dame’s status as the most overrated college football program on the planet. You’ll hear about how great it is for college football to have a good Notre Dame team playing, which must be why they’re so quickly anointed with elite status whenever they have any sort of success. With the Irish being the only major undefeated team this year, they were given the #1 ranking. But as they’ve done in past BCS bowl games, they show up and get completely outclassed by whatever SEC or even Pac-12 team they play.
Karima Adebibe is Giving Me a Boner
Fans of the blog know the Repoman is a fan of lovely English lasses, and Karima Adebibe is my new favorite. The inspiration for the latest Laura Croft character in the Tomb Raider video game franchise, Adebibe does the fanboy favorite proud. Slender, with incredible eyes and a nice rack, the Repoman would follow her anywhere. Unless a restraining order was involved (I’m too pretty for prison). Take a look at this British hottie and tell me I’m wrong.
Johnny Football Is Living The Dream
John Manziel (b.k.a “Johnny Football”) is having himself a hell of a year. Starting QB for Texas A&M as a freshman. Beating Alabama on the road. Racking up ridiculous passing and rushing stats. Being so good everyone refers to you as “Johnny Football”. Winning the freaking Heisman Trophy. As a freshman.

Miami Dolphins Cheerleader Calendar Release Party on Hard Knocks
I’m a big fan of behind-the-scenes sports shows. Hard Knocks, The Franchise, 24/7, Caught Looking, I watch ‘em all. Shit, I’ll even watch that 24/7 with the hockey teams.
The original, and best, is Hard Knocks. But this year’s Hard Knocks has been fairly boring. The head coach seems like a solid leader but lacks personality. The most entertaining player on the roster was Chad Johnson and he went and got himself cut in Week 2. The rest of the storylines were fairly blah. The best part of the 5 episode series? Cheerleaders. Last night’s final episode has a 30 second clip of the annual Dolphins cheerleader calendar release party, complete with a sexy runway show. That’s probably the highlight of this year’s Hard Knocks and made me wish they gave the cheerleaders more airtime.
