Derrick Rose has taken a lot of grief over sitting out the entire season, including the playoffs, even after having been medically cleared to play. We’re not going to comment on whether or not he should have suited up for the playoffs but we are going to show you his GMail inbox, after the jump.
We really dig the work they do at ChicagoSide Sports. With Derrick Rose expected to return to the Bulls soon (and now joining the team on road trips), the site has launched a pretty funny photoshop campaign using a pic of DRose after last week’s win in Miami. Check out some of them after the jump.
#5. Trade Omer Asik.
“The Turkish Hammer” is the most softest, clumsiest, offensively challenged 7-footer in the game. He played 14 minutes per game and only managed to average just 3 points and 5 rebounds. Some might say well he’s not there to score, he’s there to play defense. Well for a 7-footer (usually the only 7-footer on the floor) to give you only 3 defensive rebounds and 1 block per game isnt all that impressive. As a 7-footer, you should have something that resembles an offensive move and by learning to play offense at that height, it would certainly take some of the scoring pressure off Derrick Rose.
