Chris Brown throws tantrum on GMA

R&B artist Chris Brown allegedly was driven into a rage by the questions posed during an interview this morning on Good Morning America. Interviewer Robin Roberts posed multiple questions about Brown’s 2009 arrest for domestic violence to the then girlfriend (and fellow R&B star) Rihanna.

According to People.com, “A raging and shirtless Chris Brown stormed out of Good Morning America’s Times Square studio Tuesday, a source confirms to PEOPLE.”

Mind you, the temperatures in New York are in the low 40′s.

People continues,”During an interview pegged to the release of his new album F.A.M.E., Brown, 21, told GMA anchor Robin Roberts, “It’s not really a big deal to me now, as far as that situation. I think I’m past that in my life. Today’s the album day, so that’s what I’m focused on.”

Yet when Roberts inquired of the legal issues still stemming from the case, Brown said, “This album is what I want people to hear and people to really get into, so definitely this album is what I want them to talk about and not stuff that happened two years ago.”"

TMZ reports that,”…after the interview, brown freaked out, storming into his dressing room and, screaming so loud, the people in hair and makeup became alarmed and called security.”

Brown then proceeded to flip out. TMZ reports, “…one source present tells us he smashed a window in his dressing room.”

This young man is the ultimate poster child for petulant, self absorbed behavior. The fact that admittedly beat up a woman and wants the whole world to simply look past that and “focus on his music” shows exactly how far removed he is from reality. If it were my daughter, the Repoman would have pulled a “houdini” and made Brown disappear, but I digress.

My hope is that the record labels and BET’s of the world see this sociopath for what he is and stop trying to resurrect his career. There are plenty of artists with as much or more talent waiting for the opportunity this idiot took for granted. Do we here at Repo’s Delight believe in redemption. Cetainly. With “Breezy”, however, the proof is right in front of us, with a chair smashed through it.
