Adrien Broner And Brandon Rios Beef On Twitter

Loyal reader Danny told me about this Twitter beef between Adrien Broner and Brandon Rios, which started when Brandon Rios told BoxingScene.com the following about Adrien Broner:
This mother fucker acts like he’s on top of the world. He hasnt done nothing except fight midgets. He thinks he’s the next Mayweather. He aint no Mayweather.
This is kinda cool for boxing fans because a lot of fans think its time for Broner to fight someone with some recognition. Only problem is that this fight will most likely never happen unless they meet in a bodega in the hood somewhere because Adrien Broner is a Top Rank fighter and Brandon Rios is a Golden Boy fighter. Those two promotions are in a cold war right now so unless they kiss and make up, forget about ever seeing what could have amounted to a fight of the year candidate.
Heres the beef.
Interview With DeadSpin’s Head Boxing Writer

Last week I read an article on DeadSpin.com on boxing’s fastest rising star, Adrien Broner. The piece was written by Hamilton Nolan who was embedded in the Broner camp for media day.
I reached out to Hamilton to get a few questions answered about Broner, Floyd Mayweather and as well as Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire.
ReposDelight: Adrien Broner will most likely fight the WBO Lightweight champion Ricky Burns next, should he? Or should he go for the bigger payday in either: Yuriokis Gamboa, Lucas Matthesse, or Danny Garcia? Who would you like to see him fight?
Hamilton Nolan: I’d love to see him fight Gamboa, but it sounds like he’s headed up in weight and is not going to fight him. Which is a shame because they’re probably the two most naturally talented fighters in boxing today. I think Broner will have one or two more fights at 135 which will be easy wins for him, then move up. Matthysse or Garcia would be interesting fights because they’re both a lot stronger than anyone he’s fought, but I’d still pick Broner over both those guys. Amir Khan would be a great fight for him.

Top 5 Fights Floyd Mayweather Should Try To Make Happen

Rumors are starting to swirl that Floyd Mayweather might not fight in May as many expected. So I decided to put together a list of 5 fights Floyd should try to make happen. Here they are.
5. Manny Pacquiao (54-5-2)
This fight should have been number 1 on this list and still might be on most people’s list. But it started to lose steam when Pac-Man lost to Timothy Bradley (even though Manny was robbed… big time) then after getting obliterated by Juan Manuel Marquez, that pretty much closed the book on Floyd ever fighting him. However, its still a fight that would generate a ton of money and put to rest any debate between the fighters fans.
