You may be familiar with the Lingerie Football League. It’s a league where teams like of scantily-clad women play tackle football for teams like the “Temptation” and “Bliss”. Well actually it’s now called the Legends Football League but who gives a shit, it’s still chicks in bras and panties with shoulder pads and helmets running around what looks like the old set of American Gladiators acting like they’re playing tackle football. Why do we bring this up? Because there’s two videos of unintentional hilarity coming from these games.
We love Twitter, and one of our favorite things about it are tweet battles between famous (and semi-famous) people. Over the weekend Bears running back Matt Forte (@MattfForte22) got into a back-and-forth with Marc Silverman (@WaddleandSilvy) one of the hosts of the Waddle and Silvy show on ESPN 1000 in Chicago. There they are on the right, just above J.R. Smith’s shoulder. Going all apeshit. The Knicks get decent and all the celebrities and old Knicks come out of the woodwork. I’d make fun of how they haven’t won a chaimpionship in a long time but I can’t since I actively root for the Cubs.
As part of a brand makeover that included a new logo, the Jacksonville Jaguars have rolled-out a new set of uniforms for the 2013 season. The Jags new threads are designed by Nike, making them the second team to get a full “swoosh” redesign (the Seahawks got the Nike treatment last season).

Say what you want about David Ortiz, the ballplayer. With these words, “This is our fuc%#ing city, and nobody is going to dictate our freedom.”, David Ortiz the man cemented his place as a legend in Boston. He also, intentionally or not, helped deliver a message to the world. Don’t fu#k with the USA.
This made the rounds a little while back, but if you haven’t seen it yet then its totally worth watching after the jump. Bob Costas got name checked in a Ludacris song from a few years ago, and liked it so much he shared it with some of his MLB Network colleagues.
