You may be familiar with the Lingerie Football League. It’s a league where teams like of scantily-clad women play tackle football for teams like the “Temptation” and “Bliss”. Well actually it’s now called the Legends Football League but who gives a shit, it’s still chicks in bras and panties with shoulder pads and helmets running around what looks like the old set of American Gladiators acting like they’re playing tackle football. Why do we bring this up? Because there’s two videos of unintentional hilarity coming from these games.
We love Twitter, and one of our favorite things about it are tweet battles between famous (and semi-famous) people. Over the weekend Bears running back Matt Forte (@MattfForte22) got into a back-and-forth with Marc Silverman (@WaddleandSilvy) one of the hosts of the Waddle and Silvy show on ESPN 1000 in Chicago. I wouldn’t call it a battle per se. More like an extended, albeit entertaining, slapfight.
As part of a brand makeover that included a new logo, the Jacksonville Jaguars have rolled-out a new set of uniforms for the 2013 season. The Jags new threads are designed by Nike, making them the second team to get a full “swoosh” redesign (the Seahawks got the Nike treatment last season).
The Miami Dolphins are the latest NFL team to tweak their logo (following the Vikings and Jaguars). The team colors appear to remain the same and there’s no word yet on what, if any, changes will be made to the the uniforms. Don’t see it either? The biggest difference, of course, is no more helmet on the Dolphin.
Snoop Dogg, Snoop Lion, Snoop-A-Loop (Old School reference) or whatever he wants to be called now-a-days has a son who is projected to to go to a big time football college to play wide receiver in 2015. His name is Cordell Broadus Jr. Check out his profile video below.
As Im sure we’ve all heard by now, JaMarcus Russell is attempting a comeback. However, there’s a huge obstacle and Im not talking about his weight. A lot of teams already have a starting quarterback who they are committed to. So I compiled a list of teams that JaMarcus can come in and be named as the starting quarterback.
Alabama (Roll Tide!) has officially offered a 6’1″, 215 pound 8th grade football player a scholarship. But Bama wasnt the first to the party because LSU offered him one last year! His name is Dylan Moses. Watch his highlight film below. But I want you to remember one thing before all you Bama-backers get all excited, he’s a 6’1″, 215 pound 8th grade football player. The average 8th grader is 5’7″, 135 pounds.
