Blackberry To Air First Ever Super Bowl Ad

In it’s quest to bring back BlackBerry as a relevant competitor in the smartphone market, RIM will be running an ad during this Sunday’s Super Bowl. The 30 second spot for the new BlackBerry 10 will be the first time the company has advertised during the biggest TV event in the US.
Along with the commercial which will air during the game, BlackBerry “will be integrated into a number of pre- and post-game on-site, digital and social activities, including real time engagement with BlackBerry social fans on Facebook and Twitter, as well as extending and amplifying exposure and fan engagement through Promoted Posts and Sponsored Story ads,” according to the company. So it looks like an all out marketing blitz from RIM this coming Sunday.
