Fantasy M.A.S.H. Unit – Matthew Stafford

Last season’s breakout fantasy quarterback, Matthew Stafford, left today’s game against the Titans with a leg injury. Stafford has always been “that guy” with the potential to put up monster numbers. He managed to stay healthy last season and threw for more than 4000 yards and 30+ touchdowns, the first time he had played to his potential in his young career. CBSSPORTS is reporting, “The injury happened as Stafford was pursuing Titans CB Alterraun Verner while Verner was returning an interception for a touchdown. Shaun Hill replaced Stafford for Detroit’s final two drives of regulation time, engineering a comeback that tied the game at 41 and forced overtime.”
Shaun Hill came in late and rallied the Lions with TDs to Calvin Johnson and Titus Young. Keep an eye on Stafford this week.
