The Repoman is no big fan of Japan. From their 80′s arcade inspired lighting to their faux American, Too Fast Too Furious inspired culture, Japan is officially a Dee Repomanski no-fly zone. Now, from the realm of the curiously unknown, the great minds of Japan have added yet another reason not to visit their island nation: Nintendo & Toyota have partnered to turn the Nintendo DS into a automobile navigation system!
This can’t end well.

The full system, according to Tech Crunch, “costs about $3,000 while the game itself costs $92 – quite a bit of cash to simulate the map screens in Super Mario World. The DS connects to the car via Bluetooth and includes quiz games and delightful Mii characters who show you around town.”
Only in Japan, folks, could something so odd become mainstream. Pedestrians, fear for your lives!
