By now, sports fans nationwide have heard mention of Chicago White Sox announcer Ken “Hawk” Harrelson’s notorious tirade after umpire Mark Wegner threw out their pitcher for throwing behind Tampa’s Ben Zobrist. Being from Chicago, the feeling is that this type of outburst is neither new nor unexpected. “Hawk” is prone to over the top, “fanboy” theatrics whenever he feels the boys have been wronged (which is quite often). I’m just glad that the rest of America is now able to share our pain.
